All of the second grade classes at Emse's school did a performance of Click, Clack, Moo, Cows That Type. Some of the students were farmers and some were cows.
Esme got to be one of the solo readers.
They sang and did some dances after the book reading.
Esme has been taking a class at Stages Theatre and they had their final performance Tuesday night. Her friend Najee is one of the Rhinos. It was an adaptation of the book "Giraffes Can't Dance." She played a baboon. Each of the animal groups did a different dance.
Esme's dance was a Scottish reel. Her partner wasn't at the performance, but she did a great job going solo!
We had a long overdue playdate with some friends from church and decided to meet for pizza at the park. This was park #46 originally and they replaced it last year. The structure used to be much closer to the street, so it was nice to see it set back a little.
Key Features
There were a lot of spinning things whihc Parker adorned.
Esme had fun playing "the floor is lava" with Lydia and Peter.
We've been on a pretty good kick of park visits and I did not want to slow down even though it was chilly and windy. The one perk of weather like that is that you usually get the whole place to yourself.
These tree climbers were a fun feature that went with the theme.
There was also a large opem area to play frisbee, which Esme really likes.
Parker is still getting used to it and usually run away from it.
This was a super cute picture of parker trying to help Esme get on the skywheel.
This putting green was a first we've seen at a park, so fun! We checked out a newer donut shop in maple Grove afterward, Uffda Donuts. We were limited on options since it was already Noon, but found a couple that looked tasty. We'll definitely have to be back earlier in the day.
